This utility will help you locate your voting place by checking your address against our precinct borders.

Specific Instructions

  1. Provide as much of your address as you are sure of. "12 SE 1st St. 32601" will provide a better result than "12 1st" will.
  2. Be sure to enter each piece of information in the appropriate field, if you enter "Main St." in the Street Name field instead of "Main" in Street Name and "St" in Street Type, you may not get a result.
  3. The street direction prefixes used in Alachua County (N Main St, E University Ave, SE 10th Ter, etc.) should be entered in the Direction, not Post Direction field.
  4. If you are unsure of a field, leave it blank, if the information you provide does not narrow it down to one location, you will be given a list of possible matches, if you are not able to locate your residence from this list, you may need to call our office at (352) 374-5252.
  5. Once you are viewing a Precinct; the "Home" button will return you to the front of our Elections site, the "Locate Another Precinct" button will return you to the search screen.
  6. The Sample Ballots for all precincts may be viewed on our Ballots page, but at present are not linked from the individual precinct pages, we hope to offer this in the near future.
  7. If you select "Show a Map" and are using Internet Explorer (or certain other web browsers) Windows will auto-resize the map to fit your screen; this has a good chance of making the map too hard to read. To restore it to full size, first move your mouse away from the map, then hover it over the map for a few seconds, an icon will appear in the lower right which looks like a square with outward arrows, click that icon and the map will be restored to full size.
  8. The maps were prepared to print at 100 dpi resolution with very small margins on 8.5x11 paper, you may need to adjust your printer settings to avoid having it print on several pages. If your printer supports scaling, then printing in landscape at a smaller scale may be the easiest way to do this. Unfortunately, we do not have the expertise to be able to advise you on how to adjust the settings for the many different printers in use.

If you are ready to enter an address and begin use of the utility, please proceed to our Precinct Finder.
